The Kelpies is located at Helix Park, Scotland and is the one of the famous sculpture. The Kelpies are 30-metre sculptures of high horse heads. The construction of this sculpture began on 17th June 2013; it took only 90 days to complete the sculpture. This was manufactured and installed by SH Structures Limited.

Kelpies were officially completed on 27th November 2013. The Kelpies weighs 300 tons each and have 1200 tons of steel-reinforced concrete foundations per head. It is build by 928 unique stainless steel skin-plates. These Kelpies reflects the mythological transforming beasts possessing the strength and endurance of 100 horses.


God of War is situated at the park at the Jingzhou city in the Hubei province of China. It is the giant statue of Guan Yu, who is called as the China’s God of War. The sculpture is standing 48m and weighing in at 1320-tons has been placed on a 10m pedestal. Along with the huge sculpture, there is a museum that helps peoples to know about Guan Yu and is a main attraction.

God of War reflects the concept and Chinese character for ‘righteousness’. The statue was designed by Han Meilin. In this statue, Guan Yu is holding a axe sword which is called as the Green Dragon Crescent Blade. The axe weighs over 136 tones. 4,000 strips of bronze have been glued to the sculpture.


Cloud Gate is one of the most famous and popular sculpture in USA. The Cloud Gate was designed and created by Indian-born British artist Anish Kapoor. The Cloud Gate was the first public outdoor work installed in the United States. The sculpture is 110 tons in weight and is in an elliptical shape.

The Gate is located at Millennium Park, Chicago and is the centerpiece attraction of AT&T Plaza. The sculpture is forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflect Chicago’s famous skyline and the clouds above. The sculpture gate is actually inspired by liquid mercury. It is 66 feet long by 33 feet high.


The Mustangs at Las Colinas, is a realistic bronze sculpture of nine wild mustangs. It is created and designed by Robert Glen. It is the center of attraction of Williams Square in Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. It is called as the largest equestrian sculpture in the world.

The Mustangs was contracted on 1976 and was installed in 1984. Along with this structure there is a museum which features a film about the work’s creation, as well as additional sculptures by Robert Glen.


The Diminish and Ascend sculpture is depicted as an infinite stairway to heaven. This wonderful illusion is on a beach in Australia. This sculpture is designed and installed by David McCracken. This is the most eye catching piece at the Sea in Bondi.

The title, Diminish and Ascend is because it might look like it stretches the skies, but you wouldn’t get very far if you tried to climb these stairs. It is a special illusion effect that maintains the feel of infinity from all angles.
